Potato Bread

POTATO BREAD

6 cups potato flakes (I only use Bob’s Redmill - they are not all created equal)
6 tablespoons arrowroot powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
7 cups water

Mix together the potato flakes, arrowroot powder, garlic powder, and salt in a large bowl. Pour the water into the potato flakes and stir until well-combined. Scoop the potato batter into a waffle maker set on the lowest possible heat and allow to cook for at least 8 minutes but possibly longer, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

NOTES:

Unfortunately, some waffle irons that only perform at high heat do not do well with this recipe. I will link a waffle iron that I do recommend, but please note that Belgian waffle makers do not work here.
